Grameenphone minimum boycott call recharge limit of netizens!!

The minimum recharge limit of Rs 30 will be implemented from tomorrow, sparking outrage among netizens on Facebook.

Many talk of boycotting Grameenphone.

More than 17,000 netizens have so far expressed their interest in an event called "Boycott Grameenphone" at noon today (January 9).

From the last few days, the operator has started informing its customers through phone calls, SMS and MyGP app notifications.

It is said from the operator that from January 10, the minimum balance recharge amount of Grameenphone is 30 taka. However, scratchcards and recharge ops below Rs.30 will continue as before.

According to Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), the total number of SIM users in the country is 190.36 million as of November last year.

Out of this Grameenphone has 82.14 million subscribers.
